SI Stevan Dohanos Award SI NYC 2016

The Blood of Eden, art by @2016 Anna and Elena Balbusso Twins We are 2016 year’s recipients of the prestigious Stevan Dohanos Award from the Society of Illustrators of New York, honoring “The Blood of Eden”, which earned Best in Show in this year's members’ exhibition “Drawn to the Music”. “The Blood of Eden” is our free interpretation of the lyrics to the 1992 song by Peter Gabriel of the same name. The Stevan Dohanos Award is named in honor of the Federal office muralist and American painter.  We join a list of wonderful illustrators from the past years: Leigh Grant, Ted Lewin, James Bennett, Lisa Falkenstern, Rafal Olbinski, Robert E.
